Following a tough 4-1 defeat to the Kings last night in L.A. the Jets held a meeting ahead of an optional skate at SAP Center.

Practice Notes:

According to Jets coach Paul Maurice only six or seven players are gonna skate today.

Coach Maurice:  What is the focus on today?  Is tomorrow’s game a measuring stick match up?  On the dynamic change in San Jose.  On how active the Jets D has become.  Can he see Andrew Copp coming back before the break or is the extra time more beneficial?  Does Copp need some bump in practice?  How tough has it been to find practice time to get Copp that opportunity?  Will he get together with Sharks head coach Pete DeBoer.  On the Sharks finding their stride this season.
