Fresh off a 4-1 win over the Canucks last night to improve to 3-0-1 at home the Jets are back on the ice as they prepare to face the Arizona Coyotes in an afternoon affair at Bell MTS Place on Saturday.  Ahead of skate today the team announced they had assigned Kristian Vesalainen to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Practice Notes:

According to Mitchell Clinton of Jets TV the line rushes and D pairs are the same as last night.

Lines & D Pairs:

Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler
Ehlers-Little-Laine
Copp-Lowry-Tanev
Lemieux-Roslovic-Perreault

Morrissey-Trouba
Morrow-Myers
Chiarot-Kulikov

Brossoit
Hellebuyck

Goalie note:

Coach Maurice confirms that Laurent Brossoit makes his second regular season start for the Jets tomorrow against Arizona.  He is coming off a 43 save win in his debut for the Jets in a victory over the Hurricanes.

Audio:

Laurent Brossoit

Jack Roslovic

Coach Maurice:  Was last night’s game the best example of all four lines rolling?  The difficulty in getting all four lines clicking at the same time.  What got the 2nd line going?  What is the plan for Vesalalinen going forward?  How does the trip to Finland factor in for Vesalainen?  How would the Roslovic line get so few shifts against Edmonton vs the game against Vancouver?  Does he worry about limiting Perreault’s minutes?  On expectations for the 1st line?  Thoughts on the Coyotes.
