A few Jets took to the ice this morning ahead of the three-game road trip which culminates in the Jets five-day break. The trip begins in Buffalo on Tuesday night where they will face the Sabres for the second time in five days. And then it concludes with a back-to-back against the Hawks and Wild on Friday and Saturday respectively.

It was an optional and according to Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg the players skating today included: Steve Mason, Tucker Poolman, Ben Chiarot, Nikolaj Ehlers, Patrik Laine, Joel Armia, Jack Roslovic, Marko Dano and Kyle Connor.
Coach Maurice wasn’t scheduled to speak following today’s skate.
