The Jets are coming off their second consecutive loss, last night losing 6-4 to the Panthers.  Today they are across the state (or more accurately northwest) in Tampa where they will prepare to face the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow to conclude their three-game road trip.

Practice notes:

According to radio play-by-play voice Paul Edmonds the Jets held an optional skate at the Bolts practice facility.  Those that didn’t skate had a dry land workout outside the rink.

Starting goalie vs Bolts:

Paul confirms Connor Hellebuyck will start tomorrow night against Tampa.

Coach Maurice:  Getting back to their structure.  Need for better starts.  On not hitting a panic button.  Managing time/energy.  Going up against the best team in the NHL.  Same lineup?  Tucker Poolman’s development.  On Tyler Myers.
