The Jets are back on the ice today following their one-game road trip to Minnesota where they beat their divisional rival 2-1.  The team now prepares for a pair of games starting Thursday when the Dallas Stars come to town.

Practice notes:

Via Scott Billeck, correspondent for NHL.com Adam Lowry has ditched the non-contact uniform.  From Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press here are the guys not skating today “No Hellebuyck, Byfuglien, Enstrom, Myers, Kulikov, Scheifele, Little, Wheeler, Laine, Ehlers, Matthias, Hendricks. Everyone else on ice.”.

Health Updates:

Coach Maurice spoke about Adam Lowry who was skating in a normal uniform today indicated “Good to get him back.  I think he skated well for the last couple of days.  He’ll get through a couple of days of banging here, I think the earliest we would consider is Montreal but certainly not committing to that, but he is definitely going in the right direction now.”  His other banged up player is Mathieu Perreault and the Jets bench boss said he “skated on his own today for the first time.  He’ll stay on his own probably until after Montreal,  maybe even after Dallas, and we’ll put him back on the ice on that road trip.”

Goalie news:

Coach Maurice indicated he is sticking with Connor Hellebuyck in net tomorrow against the Dallas Stars.  The young Jets netminder has a 6-0-1 record with a 1.91 GAA, .940 Save % and a GSAA of 7.44.

Coach Maurice:  Adam Lowry update.  On the players who didn’t skate today.  Thoughts on the team’s play on the road.  On the Dallas Stars, who they face two of next three.  On which goalie starts tomorrow?  Does he have a goalie plan?  When Lowry gets activated, and the subsequent move that needs to be made.  On staying healthy.  Perreault health update.
