Winnipeg Jets Practice Report

According to Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun the Jets “didn’t do any line rushes so was impossible to tell what possible changes could be made.” We will have to wait to see what happens tomorrow at morning skate.

Neither Dustin Byfuglien or Blake Wheeler skated today in Edmonton but coach Maurice confirmed it was a maintenance day for them both.

Coach Maurice confirmed that Connor Hellebuyck will be making his first start of the season tomorrow against the Oilers.

Coach Maurice: How can you teach a team to be unflappable? Leaning on the veterans. Does the team need to work more on the mental side than the X’s and O’s? Any personnel changes for tomorrow? What is the goaltending plan? Maintenance for Byfuglien and Wheeler?
