The Jets and Blues are all tied up 2-2 after four games after the home team took each game in their respective city including yesterday in St. Louis which saw Winnipeg fall 5-1. For the second straight game Connor Hellebuyck was chased from the net in the 3rd period. About the only positive right now for the Presidents’ Trophy winners is the imminent return of Gabriel Vilardi who took warm-up on Sunday but ultimately didn’t play.
Recall official:
While we learned who would be in the taxi squad last week the official recall came today. The only guys not brought up were Parker Ford who is continuing to work his way back to full health after having his cast removed and resuming shooting and Brad Lambert who is dealing with the effects of an ankle sprain.
Skate news:
It was a heavily optional with the taxi squad guys skating with some regulars including Gabriel Vilaridi who was getting in another skate.
