Winnipeg Jets place Nikolaj Ehlers on injured reserve

The Jets have announced that they have placed Nikolaj Ehlers on IR. Ehlers has already been ruled out of playing in the three remaining games of this road trip after he took a knee-on-knee hit from Dmitry Orlov in Washington on Tuesday. A hit that got Orlov a two-game suspension.

Ehlers joins CJ Suess and David Gustafsson on IR.
