Winnipeg Jets place five players on waivers (Update: All cleared)

Cuts were expected today and according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports the Jets have placed the following five players on waivers:

Michael Hutchinson
Cameron Schilling
Julian Melchiori
Michael Sgarbossa
Buddy Robinson

Assuming they clear they will be off to Manitoba Moose training camp which begins tomorrow.

You can expect more moves today for players who are waiver exempt as the Jets get their training camp down to a more manageable number.

Update: The Jets made an additional eight moves sending seven players to the Moose and Logan Stanley back to his junior club.

Update II:  All Jets who were placed on waivers yesterday have cleared and were assigned to the Manitoba Moose.
