Winnipeg Jets place Eric Comrie on waivers

To say it has been an unusual season for Eric Comrie would be a massive understatement.  With the NHL roster freeze ending today at 12:01 AM eastern time clubs were free to make some moves.  As per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet the Jets placed Comrie on waivers so they could assign him to the Moose.

But to recap his 2019-20 to date:

– Placed on waivers by Jets on September 30th;
– Claimed by the Arizona Coyotes on October 1st;
– Traded by the Coyotes to the Detroit Red Wings on November 30th;
– Played first NHL game this season against Jets on December 10th;
– Placed on waivers by Red Wings December 18th.
–  Claimed by Jets on December 19th;
– Placed on waiver by Jets on December 28th.

I am sure Moose bench boss Pascal Vincent would relish the opportunity to have Berdin and Comrie as his goalie tandem to start 2020.
