Winnipeg Jets place Drew Stafford on injured reserve

Stafford celebrates goalStafford celebrates goal

Drew Stafford has been out of the Jets lineup since leaving the game last Tuesday in Dallas during the 1st period.  It was an upper-body injury listed as day-to-day by the team.  Coach Maurice was fairly emphatic giving a one-word “no” when asked if Stafford would be available for tonight’s game against the Capitals back on October 30th.

The Jets have now placed Stafford on the injured reserve retroactive to October 25th.
