Winnipeg Jets place Declan Chisholm on waivers

The Jets head into their player break (followed by the All-Star break) and won’t be back on the ice until next Sunday for practice.

The Moose however are still rolling and they may get a boost as Elliotte Friedman is reporting that the Jets have placed Declan Chisholm on waivers.

The 2018 5th rounder has only played two NHL games with Winnipeg this season (and two previously). The 24 year old is making $775,000.00 this season and will be an RFA at the end of the year.

Personally I don’t get the move as I don’t think he gets through waivers.
