Winnipeg Jets Nino Niederreiter to play for Team Switzerland at World Championship

The World Championship are being held in Finland and Latvia starting in six days and we already know that Dylan Samberg will join Team USA for it.

According to reports he’ll be doing battle with at least one teammate as it was reported that Nino Niederreiter is set to play for Team Switzerland.

He last put on the jersey of his home country back in 2018-19 also at the World Championship.

The versatile forward was acquired by the Jets at the trade deadline from Nashville and quickly became an important piece of the puzzle in Winnipeg. He’s under contract for one more season.
