Today at game day skate Jets coach Paul Maurice provided updates on the status of Winnipeg Jets rookie Nikolaj Ehlers who hasn’t played since he took a puck to the face shield in overtime against the Islanders.

According to Ted Wyman of the Winnipeg Sun:

Maurice said Ehlers out until at least next weekend. Next doc appointment is Thursday for eye injury.

And via Sara Orlesky of TSN:

light activity right now. Next key date in his recovery is Thursday. Will see if he can increase activity a bit more then.
