Winnipeg Jets move Evander Kane to injured reserved list

The Jets just tweeted the news:

#NHLJets forward, Evander Kane, has been moved to the injured reserved list, retroactive to Jan. 26.

Kane injured the hand in a Jets loss against the Lightning when he got into it with the Bolts Eric Brewer.  He came back and played three games about two weeks later (vs. Ana, SJ and Tor) but Coach Maurice announced on January 28th prior to the Predators game that Kane would be out until after Olympic break.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
