Winnipeg Jets move Cole Perfetti and Kristian Reichel from IR to LTIR

The Jets are happy to be getting Nikolaj Ehlers back in the lineup after he missed 19 games. However the return of the dynamic winger meant the team needed to make some roster moves in order to gain some cap space.

Yesterday they placed Austin Poganski on waivers which he cleared today.

They also needed to move some money around which they did by changing Cole Perfetti and Kristian Reichel status from IR to LTIR.

On March 1st interim Jets head coach Dave Lowry said Perfetti still wasn’t skating after his injury back on February 17th and he listed him as “aways away”. Reichel has been out since the game in Calgary on February 21st when he took a shot off the foot from Nikita Zadorov. There hasn’t been an update on him.
