Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers: Today’s Hockey Headlines | Mar 15, 2026

Note: The Jets picked up an unexpected 3-1 win over the NHL leading Avalanche yesterday and they will look to keep things rolling when they take on the Blues this afternoon. No morning skate for Winnipeg with it being a matinee so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 2 PM CT.

Note II: This afternoon, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and St. Louis, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 4:40 PM CT.

Note III: The Moose will look to rebound this afternoon as they conclude their four-game road trip with a re-match against the Wranglers after a disappointing loss to Calgary on Friday night. Puck drop is at 1 PM CT.

Note IV: The first season in the SHL for Jets prospect Alfons Freij (2024 2nd) has come to an end as his Timrå IK squad didn’t qualify for the playoffs. He finished with an assist in the final game which ended a run which saw him put up nine points (6G 3A) in his last ten games. Might we next see him in antlers? Over in the OHL, Kevin He (2024 4th) scored an empty netter which set a new career high for him in goals with 37. While in the WHL, Owen Martin (2025 3rd) followed up his 2G performance on Friday with a 1G 3A result last night for Spokane.
