Winnipeg Sun: Jets can’t get off ground in loss to Wild. It was a big debut for the rookie netminder who was all smiles despite the loss. While he wanted a better result it wasn’t bad considering the team in front of him. In addition Carl Klingberg made his first start since a game in December of 2011 against the Capitals.
Winnipeg Sun: Evander the evader. The situation really is rather unfortunate and likely could have been avoided had the team addressed it right away on Saturday. Instead it lead to rampant speculation which wasn’t helped by the fact that the team had the day off on Sunday. And then we had yesterday’s pre-game chat with the young sniper.
