Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Hutchinson earns 2nd look. While he didn’t have to be overly sharp the good news for the rookie is he impressed his head coach enough to earn a second opportunity in one of the two games left in the season.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets lose as fans snooze.  That game had to be up there for one of the worst games we have seen all season.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Kane scratched in TO for tardiness.  Mystery solved as we finally get the reason that the young gun was a healthy scratch in Toronto.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets can’t get off ground in loss to Wild.  It was a big debut for the rookie netminder who was all smiles despite the loss.  While he wanted a better result it wasn’t bad considering the team in front of him.  In addition Carl Klingberg made his first start since a game in December of 2011 against the Capitals.

Winnipeg Sun:   Evander the evader.  The situation really is rather unfortunate and likely could have been avoided had the team addressed it right away on Saturday.  Instead it lead to rampant speculation which wasn’t helped by the fact that the team had the day off on Sunday.  And then we had yesterday’s pre-game chat with the young sniper.

CBC:  Hutchinson stands tall in NHL debut.  Jeff with some thoughts on the first career start by the rookie goalie.

TSN:  Jets can’t solve Bryzgalov in loss to Wild.  Dennis gives you his thoughts on the loss from his perch high above the ice surface at the MTS Centre.

TSN:  Draft Lottery Tracker.  The Jets lost last night to the Wild however they remained in the same draft position they held on Monday (7th spot) and their % of winning the draft remains at 4.7%.
