Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets coach lays down the law.  This to me was an indication of coach Maurice showing that he intends on being here long term.  Why else discipline a player and set off this type of chain reaction unless you are establishing that this is your team and your rules will be followed?

Winnipeg Free Press:  Into the school of hard shots.  Interesting to read the reasons that Hellebuyck gave for choosing to turn pro instead of staying at college.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Hutchinson likely to start one of final three games.  Like we have said for awhile it will be quite an accomplishment for the goalie who has gone from playing for the ECHL Ontario Reign to the NHL Winnipeg Jets all in one season.  If I had to guess I think he plays the final game of the year against Calgary.

Winnipeg Sun:  What’s the next move?  Ken delves further into the topic of what might have occurred with Kane and what the Jets best options will be moving forward.

Winnipeg Sun:  Chasing the dream.  Many fans won’t be afraid to hear that his style is “big and boring” as long as he can stop the puck.  However it may be awhile before they see young Hellebuyck up with the Jets.

TSN:  Draft Lottery Tracker.  The Jets were idle yesterday and they remained in the same draft position they held on Sunday (7th spot) and their % of winning the draft remains at 4.7%.
