Winnipeg Free Press:  Blooper aside, Pavs solid.  The Jets carried most of the play but after that brutal second Leafs goal Pavelec played fine for the remainder of the game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Maurice mum on Kane.  He has said on numerous occasions that he wouldn’t air his dirty laundry in the media so his lack of chatter about the situation comes as little surprise.  Article also covers Ladd’s thoughts on game, Enstrom’s backbreaking goal and Carlyle’s team paralysis.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets play spoilers.  No team really relishes the idea of being a spoiler when you are on the outside looking in as well.  Having said that the Jets players are probably pretty happy with how they performed on a national stage.

TSN:  Jets beat Leafs as they look for strong finish.  Dennis breaks down the win from his spot high above the ice surface.

TSN:  Draft Lottery Tracker.  The Jets win last night meant they moved to the 7th spot (they were 6th yesterday) and their % of winning the draft decreased to 4.7% (from 6.2%).

The Telegram:  Samson scores winner as IceCaps bounce back from loss to defeat Falcons 3-1.  They pulled off an impressive win over a  team ahead of them in the standings (Falcons are 1st in Northeast, while IceCaps are 2nd in Atlantic).

Winnipeg Sun:  Connor Hellebuyck to forgo eligibility, join IceCaps.  They are going to have plenty of healthy competition in St. John’s with all the goalies currently on the roster.
