Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets show star power.  Who exactly were those Jets last night?  They chased Tim Thomas and didn’t let up there.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Montoya gung-ho for big game against St. Louis.  If the Jets thought last night was going to be difficult, tonight’s game against a well rested top-seeded Blues team might be the most difficult game remaining on their schedule.  Despite playing his second game in as many night Al Montoya is ready to accept the challenge.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Time to bring back Burmi.  With Scheifele and Little as your top two centres I don’t see Burmistrov happily returning to be the team’s third line centre (despite the fact that he would be well suited to that spot).

Winnipeg Free Press:  Hutchinson’s heartwarming tale of hard work and reward.  As I’ve been saying since Pavelec went down it is quite the tale to go from the ECHL all the way to the NHL.  When Montoya was run hard last night we wondered what Hutchinson thought when it looked like he could get called to action.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets Snapshots.  Monday morning reality check, Jets fans … Byfuglien almost fills hat … Maurice raises eyebrows … Bogo hit one for highligh reels.

Blues news:

St. Louis Post-Dispatch:  Blues lose Tarasenko to hand injury.  He has been really hot this season and it is a big loss to a well stacked St. Louis team.
