Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun:  Jetstream blog.  Ken empties his notebook and we take a peek inside to gain some insight into the Jets big win in Nashville last night.  Plenty to read in this post, which is good because it’s a lazy Sunday so peruse and enjoy.

Winnipeg Free Press:  For Jets’ penalty kill, it’s a case of practice makes perfect.  They are way more aggressive on the penalty kill.  In addition to using speedy players like Wheeler and Kane it has changed the way the team kills penalty and they now sit sixth in the NHL.  Helped that Pavelec was on his game yesterday.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Can you say ‘playoffs?’. If you are unable to do so there are plenty of fans who are currently counting their chickens. Still not going to be easy but if the team keeps winning they are going to put themselves into a very good position.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets earn separation in standings with big win over Predator.  Always important to put as much distance as you can between yourself and the teams trying to catch you.  A clean two points certainly doesn’t hurt.

TSN:  Jets’ penalty kill a potent and valuable weapon.  From high above the ice surface at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Dennis assess the Jets win.
