TSN:  Tradecentre – Monday’s Report from around the NHL.  Standard fare of Jokinen/Setoguchi as trade bait with Stuart talk as well.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Buff’s miscues minimal.  No question he has been mitigated with this move.  Gary also delves into the Michael Frolik RFA situation (something we dealt with in-depth), Stuart’s UFA status and trade deadline talk.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Montoya carries Jets to victory over Blackhawks.  He was clearly the star of the game as he helped coach Paul Maurice achieve a loft six wins and 1 loss record in his short time with the Jets.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets pot three in third for unlikely win over Hawks.  With the shots being completely out of whack and the Jets coming off a back-to-back situation, anyone who expected a 3rd period like that please put up your hand!

Winnipeg Sun:  Fourth time the charm for Jets.  It seemed highly unlikely that the Jets would be able to maintain whatever they had mustered against the bottom teams last week as they played three of the top Western Conference teams in past week.  While wins over Anaheim and Toronto were nice the first win in Chicago, a 3rd period comeback no less, was quite the surprise.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets’ win over Blackhawks all about Al.  It is always special to win in your hometown and last night Al Montoya put on quite the performance to secure the win for this team.
