CBC:  5 Things to Watch as Jets look to tame Wild.  Jeff reflects on a few topics in advance of the game tonight including talk being cheap, season matchup, crease protection, Noel on the hot seat and more injury news.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Patience isn’t everything….  Unfortunately it is a virtue many in our instant gratification society no longer possess.  People want to win and win now.  Of course counseling that you won’t win now is a message no GM in this league is going to try and sell so instead the silence is enough of a message from the top.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Soar or nosedive in second half?  Ed takes a look at what remains on the schedule to determine if the Jets can make a run.  Also discusses Mark Scheifele’s trending up, Dustin Byfuglien’s trending down, Five biggest questions and GM Cheveldayoff under the microscope.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets need wins and plenty of them to make the playoffs.  On last Saturday’s Illegal Curve Hockey show we figured the Jets only had 14 or so losses left before the playoffs would be a dim prospect.  Two losses to Vancouver and Edmonton have dropped our number to 12.  So as Kirk suggests this team needs to go on the run to end all runs to jump back into the race.

Minneapolis Star-Tribune:  Zach Parise expected to miss some games for struggling Wild.  Missing Parise tonight is going to be a boon to the Jets.
