Jets news:

CBC:  30 Thoughts & Conference switch weighs heavy on Jets.  Friedman devoted the beginning of his 30 Thoughts column to the Jets struggle to adapt to the West.  No Jets thoughts in the 30 Thoughts however.

– Jets have recalled Eric O’Dell from the AHL IceCaps.  He is currently the 5th leading scorer in the AHL this season with 28 games played, 12 goals, 17 assists for 29 points.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Jets out-mediocre Blue Jackets.  It wasn’t the most riveting game last night but all that matters to coach Noel and company is they left Ohio with two more points in their pocket.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Kane wastes zero time making impact in return.  He had a big impact on the game and impressively came back after taking quite the shot.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Three stars and notes.  A look at the three stars and some notes.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Like his players, Noel must be accountable.  Seems like it is a catch-22.  He either gets a pass because he doesn’t have enough talent to work with or he should be held accountable for not making more with what he has.   What do you think? 

Winnipeg Sun:  Kane sparks Jets past Blue Jackets.  After missing as many games as he had, the speedy winger quickly showed fans the importance of having a scoring winger on the 2nd line.

Winnipeg Sun:  Suspension, injuries have Jets roster reeling.  Just when the defensive roster is starting to get healthy and looks like they might have a full contingent for what seems like the first time in ages, the forwards are dropping like flies.

TSN:  Jets snap three-game losing streak in win over Jackets.  From high above the ice surface Dennis breaks down the game as he saw it unfold last night.
