Note:  The Jets cancelled their practice that was scheduled for today opting to give the team time to get back on track prior to heading on this two game trip to Columbus and Buffalo.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press:  Plenty of blame to go around in Jets’ Saturday stinker.  It was reminiscent of the two duds the Jets played against the Capitals back to back that sealed the season last year.  For Jets fans, they have to have hope that this team can get back on track but it is going to be a tall task.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Miserable Jets look for answers after 6-4 loss to Stars.  The team won’t be available before they leave for a two game road trip to Columbus and Buffalo so they will have to show fans starting on Monday if they have figured out how to change things around.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets need shakeup.  Will GM Cheveyldayoff make a change and if so what is the best move this team can make?  Paul also covers brain cramps, hanging Pavelec out to dry, trending down and an epic low.

Winnipeg Sun:  Halischuk heads for Jets sick bay.  He put home Scheifele’s rebound to get the Jets back into the game but took a shot at the end of the 1st that cost him the rest of the game.  Who knows how much longer he may be out of the lineup.

Illegal Curve:  Anthony Peluso to have hearing for hit.  It was not a smart play as the hit cost his team and we will find out today if it costs the bruiser any more time.  What do you think should happen?
