Winnipeg Free Press:  Roy more than just a coach for Avs.  Gary touches on the success the Hall of Fame goalie has found behind the bench in Denver and also bring coach Noel into the conversation.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Good + bad = another loss.  Despite a fantastic start that saw them score two goals quickly and ignite the crowd the team took their foot off the pedal and allowed the Avs to get back into the game.

Winnipeg Free Press:  ‘I’m not a moral victory guy’: Noel.  As the extra points continue to escape his team it becomes somewhat old to try and be a glass half full type.

Winnipeg Sun:  Left scratching their heads after another loss.  Add another one goal game to the list as last night’s loss was the 20th contest that ended within one goal.

Winnipeg Sun:  Duchene commands spotlight in win over Jets.  Avalanche beat writer for the Denver Post Adrian Dater wrote about the slump Duchene was trying to break out of and he certainly accomplished that goal (pun quasi intended) last night in Winnipeg.

TSN:  Jets start strong but fall to Avalanche in shootout.  From high above the ice surface Dennis Beyak breaks down the game as he saw it.

CSN New England:  Evander Kane talk.  Midway down the article Bruins beat writer Joe Haggerty discusses the young Jets forward.  Not sure if there is anything to it but you can read it and form your own opinion.
