Jets news:

Sportsnet:  Hockey Canada could benefit from Monahan injury.  As we turn our attention to the 2014 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship a couple of the Jets prospects are likely going to be making the trip to Sweden.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Trying to learn from error of their ways.  The problem isn’t coming back in tonight’s game and putting forth a better effort.  While that is necessary, the true test of the grit of the Jets will be showing they can put together a number of games in a row in which they play 60 complete minutes of hockey.

Winnipeg Free Press:  We could see Peluso on PP.  When the PP is as woeful as it is, why not take the entire blueprint toss it in the garbage and try something completely different.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Notebook.  A Kane update,  other infirmary news, MSG reno finished and Pavelec is no stranger to NYC.

Winnipeg Sun:  Fork in road for Jets.  Can this Winnipeg team provide coach Noel with the answers to his questions?  We shall see tonight when they play their fourth game of this six game road trip.

Winnipeg Sun:  Jets place call to minors for Albert.  Ken gives you his take on the John Albert call up.

Illegal Curve:  Coach Claude Noel scrum from Tarrytown.  Injury updates on Kane (questionable), Slater and Bogosian (both remain week to week)?   A spirited practice today.  Is Friday’s game done in his mind?  Tinkering the power play.  Looking at lines sans Kane possibly.  Keys to pushing through the rest of the road trip.  If Kane can’t go will they call someone up?  What has he liked about Keaton Ellerby’s game?

Rangers news:

ESPN:  Vigneault declines to reveal today’s starting goalie.  The former Moose bench boss is keeping his cards close to his chest.

The Telegram:  IceCaps headed home on a winning note.  They won four out of six on this road trip but reading this article you can see both the parent and farm clubs suffer from that same lack of consistency and ability to string together a significant win streak.
