– Via twitter, in response to an inquiry about Dustin Byfuglien’s appearance (weight), we learned from Minneapolis Star Tribune reporter Michael Russo that it appears that Byfuglien’s weight loss regime continues unabated:

– Players represented by Octagon Sports are having a training camp in Montreal, and agent Allan Walsh was tweeting out pictures of the players participating, including pictures of Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec (working out and on the ice) and a picture of Jets forward Michael Frolik on the ice.

Toronto Star:  Maples Leafs, Nazem Kadri contract talks drag on. You would have to think he is in for a substantial raise but the Leafs do not seem particularly quick to hand out the moolah.
