Jets news:

The only Jets news for today will be when you tune into the IC Hockey Show and listen to Zach Bogosian’s agent talk about the seven year contract his client just signed.  That interview will be at 10:30 am (and will be available for replay on site shortly thereafter).

If you missed it, you can hear Zach Bogosian’s conference call he held with the media after the deal was completed.

NHL news:

Globe and Mail:  Gretzky was the greatest, and he was ours.  You don’t earn a name like ‘The Great One’ by accident.  Another great article by Roy MacGregor.

Globe and Mail:  CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada window set to close.  Is it the end of an era?  Good thing the guys have the articles writer on today’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show and they can ask him this and a number of other questions today.

CBC:  Kings re-sign forward Kyle Clifford to two-year deal.   The last of the Kings free agent pool was signed.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch:  Blues sign Paajarvi to two-year extension.  Seems like the only team to be making any news lately is St. Louis as they follow up the Bouwmeester deal with this one.
