Winnipeg Sun:  Friction with Noel a reason for Burmistrov’s departure says agent.  This should really come as no surprise to anyone who paid attention during the season.

Globe and Mail:  Hockey agent Don Baizley was the anti-Jerry Maguire.  A great read by Eric Duhatschek on the Winnipeg legend.  A memorial service will be held at 4 pm at the MTS Centre this afternoon.

NHL news:

Toronto Sun:  Don Cherry candid on offseason NHL moves.  Don being Don, always a fun and sometimes even an informative interview.

Globe and Mail:  Stars’ Seguin apologizes again for gay slur on Twitter.  Gotta love the hacking defence but perhaps this will get him to straighten out and start focusing on hockey.

Globe and Mail:  Chelios, Niedermayer and Shanahan to enter Hockey Hall of Fame.  A worthwhile group to gain entry to the hallowed hall of fame.
