Winnipeg Free Press: Burmistrov wants out of Winnipeg. This doesn’t come as a big surprise. He likely wants top line minutes but hasn’t shown the production to merit same. But at the same time, this could simply be a ploy in the negotiations.
Winnipeg Sun: Trouba fits right in. Jets fans have to be salivating at the prospect of this young gun wearing the team jersey next season. All indications are the Jets stole him when they drafted him 9th overall last year.
