– Ondrej Pavelec played his first game for the Czech Republic and led his team to a 2-1 shootout win.

– Arturs Kulda had an assist as Team Latvia beat Slovakia 5-3.

Winnipeg Free Press:  Scheifele’s dominance makes Jets look wise.  An important part of his development is happening right now and the Jets have to be very happy with what they have seen from their first round selection in 2011.

– Mark Scheifele and his Barrie Colts teammates try to punch their ticket to the Memorial Cup tonight as they head to London up 3 games to 1.
