Winnipeg Sun: Five Jets questions that need answers. Ken takes a look at five questions including whether Buff should be traded, Jokinen and the potential for an amnesty buyout, moving up in the draft, Pavelec’s backup and whether Enstrom can kick the injury bug.
Winnipeg Sun: Captain Ladd to compete at world hockey championship in Sweden and Finland. Based on the season he had his selection was a no-brainer. The only impediment to his playing on the team was if he had decided to take some time off from hockey. Luckily for Team Canada he will be joining the squad and giving Jets fans something to cheer about.
Winnipeg Sun: Crown corporations still getting Jets tickets. Where do you stand on the issue of public companies having tickets? An interesting conversation for the public to have although it is a shame that it seems have been initiated on the basis of political motivation.
Jets prospect news:
OHL: Barrie Colts vs. Belleville Bulls Game 7. The stage is set as Mark Scheifele and his Colts try not to blow their 3-1 series lead. The other Jets prospect in the series Austen Brassard will try and complete the comeback and send the Bulls to the OHL finals against the London Knights.
