Note: The Jets played a game they could have won on Monday but they scored one goal while allowing three and that equals a 3-1 loss to the Oilers which extended their slide to six games. Tough times for the NHL club of Winnipeg. Today, they will jump on a plane for Detroit where they will kick off a three-game road trip.
Note II: The Moose have a second straight day of practice as they get set for the final day of the year when they host the defending Calder Cup champion Canucks tomorrow in the late afternoon.
Note III: Team Sweden are off to a perfect 3-0 while prospect Alfons Freij had four points (0G 4A) which puts him second on the team in terms of production.
