Note: The Jets started the game flat and played that way for most of the contest in St. Louis as the Blues took it by a final score of 1-0 and Winnipeg suffered another regulation loss which dropped them to 15-16-2 on the season. It was the fourth time they got shutout this season. The team cancelled practice today in Denver and will use the day as a rest and recovery day as they get set for their hardest game of the season tomorrow night against the Avs.
Note II: The Moose hit the ice on Wednesday for a practice after taking the two days prior to stay off of it. While they’ve been playing well and sit second in the Central they weren’t happy with their effort in their last game which saw them lose 6-0. They were/are scheduled to practice so we shall have to wait and see if they do. If they do stick around for the Practice Report.
Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Jets’ frustration level rising after Blues blanking. This team is 6-13-2 in their last 21 games. They are such a shell of the Presidents’ Trophy club from last season. It’s hard to believe they are just one season removed. Watch the clip below to hear Craig Button break down the defensive deficiencies from the game. It’s wild.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets find another way to lose. (Paywall). Mike was at the Enterprise Center last night and filed this report on what he saw from inside the arena.
Global News: Jets waste great Hellebuyck performance in 1-0 loss in St. Louis. Can’t believe there are some folks that blame 37 because of the miscue between him and DeMelo on the only goal against. While a mistake was made on the play if not for Hellebuyck’s play in the first 10 minutes of that game it easily could have been 3-0 (if not more). When you don’t score a single goal it’s hard to win a game.
Post-Dispatch: Joel Hofer’s shutout guides Blues past Jets, 1-0. (Paywall). Trust a Manitoban to hand Winnipeg their fourth loss of the season.
