Note: The Jets finally put an end to their losing streak as they left Nashville with a 5-2 win over the Predators on Saturday night. Most importantly they also got secondary scoring for the first time since they defeated the Blue Jackets. They are off today.

Note II: Things didn’t go as well for the AHL club of Manitoba who dropped their game on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 4-1 to the Wolves. They did have a ton of chances and prospect Danny Zhilkin was flying out on the ice and also managed to hit both posts and the crossbar with one shot. The two clubs will have a re-match this afternoon to conclude the six-game homestand. Puck drop is at 2 PM CST.

Note III: Jets prospect Kieron Walton (2024 6th) with 1G 1A for Sudbury which included the OT game-winning goal.

Illegal Curve Hockey Show: Saturday Podcast. On yesterday morning’s show we spent two hours discussing all things about the NHL club of Winnipeg. We discussed the lack of secondary scoring, whether it’s time to break up the top line to distribute the wealth, changing the forward dynamic, if Elias Salomonsson stays in and more.
