Note: The Jets losing streak got to four games as they lost in Carolina last night by a final score of 5-1 spoiling the NHL debut of Thomas Milic. No resting for Winnipeg as they are back in action tonight in Nashville so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 6 PM CST.
Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Nashville, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 9:40 PM CST.
Note III: The Moose will be the appetizer as they take on the Wolves this afternoon in Winnipeg. Based on practice on Friday things are looking like they will be the same as they were in their last win this past Wednesday (seventh win in last eight games). Puck drop is at 2 PM CST.
Note IV: The Jets have had a November to forget and will wrap up the month on the road against the Predators having lost four straight games. We will spend two hours on Saturday at 9 AM discussing all things Winnipeg Jets on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show.
Note V: Catching up with the prospects in action on Friday. In the OHL Kevin He (2024 4th) had a goal, Kieron Walton (2024 6th) had 2G 1A (and a lot of shots) and Jacob Cloutier (2025 7th) had 2A. Over in the WHL it was a goal for Owen Martin (2025 3rd)
Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Slumping Jets lose fourth consecutive game, this one a 5-1 setback to Carolina. Makes me think of Frank the Tank aka Will Ferrell in Old School saying “we’re going streaking” although I don’t think anyone envisioned it meaning Winnipeg dropping four straight games.
Winnipeg Free Press: Milic thrown to the wolves. (Paywall). Ironically he’s handled the Wolves quite nicely when facing them in the AHL but up in the NHL he wasn’t given any run support (or support otherwise) as the Jets got buried by the Hurricanes. Mike was in Raleigh and gives you his insight from inside the arena.
Sportsnet: Head coach Scott Arniel shreds Jets after fourth straight loss. With good reason as that effort was not very good.

Global News: Manitobans light the lamp as Winnipeg Jets fall 5-1 in Carolina. It is probably a good think that folks in this province only see Seth Jarvis twice per season ’cause every time they do they likely play a game of ‘what if’ the Jets had selected the homegrown talent with the 10th overall selection in 2020.
Global News: It’s not time for Jets fans to panic … at least not yet. Given it’s around Black Friday they may be able to buy those giant panic buttons for cheap.
