Note: The Jets practiced in Raleigh on Thursday as they looked to get things back on track after losing three straight games. No morning skate for Winnipeg with the early puck drop but stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest news. Puck drop is at 4 PM CST.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Carolina, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 6:40 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose are scheduled to practice today at 10:30 AM CST as they prepare for the final couple of games on their six-game homestand. They will face a familiar foe in the Wolves who they swept to kick things off last weekend in Winnipeg. Stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets hope to arrest three-game losing skid in Carolina. The time is now because they can ill afford to not arrest this fall and try to start gaining ground on the teams ahead of them.

Winnipeg Free Press: All signs point to Milic against Hurricanes. (Paywall). Mike was in Raleigh for practice and his observations have him thinking another Jets prospect will be making his NHL debut. If he does make his debut tonight there are gonna be lots of folks from BC, Seattle and Manitoba cheering him on.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets frustrated, but remain hopeful club can turn around losing skid. (Paywall). This team doesn’t have any time to lament their lot right now. They have to put the train back on the tracks and start chugging.

The Athletic Winnipeg: Five changes the Winnipeg Jets need to make to make the playoffs. (Paywall). Murat’s list includes: 1) Find some secondary scoring. 2) Consider a top line split. 3) Give Elias Salomonsson a longer look. 4) Remember that there’s a ton of season left. 5) Be bold enough to address things by trade.
