Note: The Jets skated Friday as they prepared to wrap up their woeful road trip, which sits at 1–4–0. Although Morgan Barron and Cole Koepke practiced in regular jerseys, head coach Scott Arniel indicated that neither is expected to play tonight. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 12:30 PM CST so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 9 PM CST.
Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Calgary, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 11:40 PM CST.
Note III: Unlike their parent club the Moose are loving life on the road. Last night they went into Milwaukee, where the Admirals had just one regulation loss, and took control of the game from the outset. They outshot the home team 17-4 after 20 and held a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Kevin Conley and Phil Di Giuseppe. The shutout bid was lost approaching midpoint of the 3rd on one of the stranger goals you’ll see this season. Manitoba would hold on for the 3-1 win to win their third straight game. They are back in action this evening taking on the Icehogs in Rockford.
Note IV: Pair of Jets prospect were having an impact for their teams on Friday night. Over in the OHL 2024 6th rounder Kieron Walton picked up a slick assist in a losing effort for Sudbury. Down in the NCAA it was a win for 2023 3rd rounder Zach Nehring who picked up the game-winning goal for Western Michigan.

Note VI: What began as a perfect start away from home has quickly unraveled, with the Jets’ once-impressive undefeated road record now sitting at 5-4-0. On today’s Illegal Curve Hockey Show, we break down what’s gone wrong, what needs to change, and whether this team can right the ship before the skid becomes something more serious. We will also get you set for tonight’s game against the Flames in Calgary. Stick with us for the next two hours as we dive into all things Winnipeg Jets.
