Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets are in Seattle to take on the Kraken after taking the day off on Wednesday following a 5-3 win over the Canucks the night prior. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 1:30 PM CST so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest as we wait to see if Dylan Samberg will make his regular season debut. If he’s not ready might Haydn Fleury be good to go after suffering an upper-body injury on Tuesday. Puck drop is at 9 PM CST.

Note III: The Moose were in Rockford on Wednesday, looking to build on their last outing — a comeback win — as they faced the IceHogs for the first time this season. Manitoba fell behind 2–0 early after allowing back-to-back goals but responded with three straight from Fagemo (here), Phillips (here), and Heinola (here). Goalie prospect Thomas Milic made several key stops (here and here) to preserve the lead and secure the team’s second straight comeback victory. The Moose will practice in Milwaukee today before facing the Admirals tomorrow night.
