Note: The Jets have hit a slide losing both games in California to start this six-game road trip and they’ll be looking to get back on track against a very good Ducks team. They held an optional practice which saw Cole Perfetti skating a second straight day in a regular jersey. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 1 PM CDT so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 9 PM CDT.
Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Anaheim, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 11:40 PM CDT.
Note III: The Moose concluded an unusual four game set against the Stars which saw them play twice in Winnipeg and then another two in Texas. Last night the visitors were able to arrest their three-game slide with a 3rd period comeback which saw Jets prospects Fabian Wagner and Colby Barlow get their first goals of the season. Today is a travel day for Manitoba as they head to Rockford next.
Note IV: Oakbank product Owen Martin with his third goal of the season and his second game-winner for Spokane. The Jets third rounder (2025) at 3G 1A for 4 points in 15 games. Big drop off in production for the Manitoban to start the season although he has two goals in last four games.
Jets news:
Winnipeg Sun: Scott Arniel lays out expectations to each Jets player after second road loss in a row. Interesting comment from the bench boss on Saturday as he mentioned speaking to every single player (with exception of Perfetti & Samberg).
