Note: The Jets looked slow while the Sharks looked fast last night in San Jose which led to disconnected hockey for the visitors and if not for Connor Hellebuyck they might have lost by a lot more than the 2-1 final score. They are scheduled to practice today so stay tuned for the Practice Report.
Note II: The Moose fared even worse as they, like their parent club, opened the scoring last night in Texas but then it was all Stars as they tied the game late in the opening period, scored twice in the middle frame and then added an empty netter to take it 4-1. That was their third straight win against Manitoba. Re-match to conclude four straight games against each other tonight at 7 PM CST.
Note III: Join us for two hours of hockey talk on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show as we cover all the latest on the Jets, Moose, and prospects. We reflect on the second game of the road trip when Winnipeg took on San Jose, look ahead to their game in Anaheim, discuss the injury to Morgan Barron, as well as the potential return of Cole Perfetti and Dylan Samberg.
Note IV: While the Jets may be cruising along so far this season, that doesn’t mean you don’t have some Jets-related questions. If you’d like to take part in the Free Press mailbag, send your questions to Ken Wiebe and Mike McIntyre.
