Note: The Jets did battle with the Wild in St. Paul last night and despite the odds pulled off a 4-3 win in overtime as they showed some resiliency in picking up the victory against their rival. They are off today.
Note II: The Moose played their first game in Tucson, Arizona last night in nine years as they played an even opening frame and then took it to the Roadrunners in the final 40 minutes. While Manitoba outshot them 41-17 in the final two periods and were able to get goals from Samuel Fagemo (see here) and Jaret Anderson-Dolan (see here) while goalie prospect Thomas Milic made 26-saves for the shutout to seal the victory. These two teams will have a re-match this evening. Puck drop is at 8:30 PM CDT.
Note III: While Jets head coach Scott Arniel seemed to tip his hand yesterday that he expects his captain Adam Lowry back in the next week but he wasn’t quite ready to reveal if there would be a conditioning assignment involved. Especially because the Manitoba schedule isn’t practice heavy this week.

Winnipeg Sun: What a Wild night as the Jets beat Minnesota 4-3 in overtime. The amount of oddly bouncing pucks alone was enough to qualify it as a strange game.
Winnipeg Sun: Jets mired in multiple second-period slumps. And Gordon wrote that BEFORE they had another one in Minnesota on Tuesday.
The Athletic: Jonathan Toews brings healthy body, healthy attitude to his first game against the Blackhawks. (Paywall). The Jets centre caught up with one of the media folks who covered him in his Chicago days as he gets ready for his first ever game against the Blackhawks on Thursday.
