Note: The Jets are back in the city for one game as they get set to host the Predators tonight before heading back out on the road. This game also represents Child Advocacy Night in support of Toba Centre and I wrote about the mother of the late Scott Campbell (former Jets 1.0 captain) who is dropping the puck in her son’s memory. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 9:30 AM CDT so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 6 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Nashville, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 8:40 PM CDT.

Note III: The Moose were in Grand Rapids last night where they kicked off their six-game road trip with a 5-2 loss to the Griffins. They did get goals from Danny Zhilkin (see here) and Samuel Fagemo (see here). These two teams will be back in business tonight. Puck drop is at 6 PM CDT.

Note IV: Plenty of prospects in action last night. In the OHL it was Edison Engle (2025 6th) who scored his second of the season while Kieron Walton (2024 4th) had a goal and assist. In NCAA action it was Sascha Boumedienne (2025 1st) who ripped home his first of the campaign.

Note V: Be sure to join us for two hours of Jets and Moose talk this morning at 9 AM CDT on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show. We will be joined by Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free press and former NHL goalie turned analyst Chris Mason. Join us here.

Illegal Curve Hockey: Extended Minuk Moose Minute with Samuel Fagemo. The Jets signed Samuel Fagemo as a free agent after the Swedish forward spent five seasons in the Kings organization which was the team which drafted him back in 2019 in the 2nd round. No player has scored more goals in the AHL in the past five years than the winger from Goteborg, Sweden. We sat down with him to get some insight into the type of player and person who is joining the Jets/Moose organization.
