Note: The Jets went into the City of Brotherly Love and cruised to a 5-2 win over the Flyers. Lots of contributors but Mark Scheifele picked up his fourth and fifth goals of the season. Also notable continues to be the play of Morgan Barron who picked up his third goal of the season. The Jets are travelling back to Winnipeg today.

Note II: The Moose left for Grand Rapids on Thursday where they will take on their division rival in a pair of games starting this evening. They received an addition yesterday as they got Kale Clague back from the Jets. Puck drop is at 6 PM CDT.

Winnipeg Sun: Mark Scheifele equals Jets 2.0 points record with two goals in win over Flyers. It’s been an impressive start to the season for 55.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets managing the minutes while missing ‘big minute guy’ Dylan Samberg. I thought the PK was doomed without him (and Adam Lowry) but they’ve certainly been able to get it done without the Minnesotan.

Sportsnet: Why Jets should target ‘wow-type players’ at deadline this time around. Sportsnet: What are the expectations for Jets’ Toews down the stretch? Sean Reynolds joined Kyper and Bourne to discuss what to expect from Winnipeg Jets’ Jonathan Toews down the stretch and why the Jets have the right system in place to allow Toews to find his game without it impacting team success.
