Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets were back on the ice and not in need of reinforcements as both Haydn Fleury and Cole Koepke were skating although both Kyle Connor and Gustav Nyquist took maintenance days. Morning skate for Winnipeg gets underway at 10 AM CDT so stay tuned for the pre-game report to ensure you’re up-to-date on the latest. Puck drop is at 6 PM CDT.

Note II: This evening, after the final buzzer sounds between Winnipeg and Philadelphia, we want you to be part of the conversation on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show as we discuss and analyze the results of the game starting around 8:40 PM CDT.

Note III: The Moose were on the ice in Winnipeg on Wednesday as they continued to prep for the six-game road trip which gets underway tomorrow night in Grand Rapids against the Griffins. Today they will travel to Michigan.

Note IV: Jets prospect Jacob Cloutier (2025 7th) with his second of the season to open the scoring for Saginaw last night. He’s got 2G 2A for 4 pts in 7 games. Assist from Dimian Zhilkin who is the younger brother of Winnipeg prospect Danny Zhilkin.

Winnipeg Free Press: Comrie relishing in hot start to season. (Paywall). He looked solid in his first start and perhaps getting it so quickly into the season is a sign the team plans on using him more frequently during the 2025-26 campaign.
