Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Note: The Jets were off on Tuesday so no update on Cole Koepke who went down blocking a shot in the game on Monday and was listed as day-to-day leaving Winnipeg with just 12 healthy forwards. If he isn’t good to go expect the team to make a recall although that would necessitate putting someone on IR. They are set to skate at 11 AM in Philly as they get set for the game against the Flyers tomorrow night. Stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets’ Toews already making an impact. (Paywall). It was evident the impact he was having during practice and just three games into his return it is easy to see the things he is doing to be impactful in games. 

Sportsnet: Why Central Division is shaping up to be Group of Death. With Colorado and Dallas cruising out of the gate as well as Nashville, St. Louis and Minnesota all looking solid it isn’t gonna be easy to get out of this division.
