Feels like just yesterday the Jets were being pilloried for the Morrissey contract and now they are lauded for it. Which is why it’s important to wait a few years before declaring something a win or a loss. Winnipeg moved up two spots to 10th on his ranking.

Winnipeg Sun: Nyquist brings veteran experience, Swedish pedigree to Jets after winding road to NHL. Insight into the veteran who was signed during free agency.
Winnipeg Sun: Veteran forward Nyquist eyes Stanley Cup with new-look Jets. It will be interesting to see if he can resurrect his career in Winnipeg. There will certainly be an opportunity for him this season.
