Note: One week to go before the Jets and Dylan Samberg head to arbitration although it isn’t expected to get to that point on July 30th. Stay tuned to find out if today is the day he inks a new long-term deal in Winnipeg.

The Athletic: Which NHL broadcasts are the best? 2025 broadcast rankings, rated by fans. (Paywall). Jets broadcasts have jumped quite a bit from 21st in the prior poll to 11th.

Illegal Curve Hockey: Former Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler retires from the NHL. Not exactly breaking news at this point but in case you missed it the Minnesotan is hanging up his skates after 16 seasons in the NHL.
